For this BE Cares charitable cause, we teamed with BE Addicts Christa Ryan, Terry Ross, Jeanne Newton, Leslie Reaser and Diana Benning to help the victims of hurricane Katrina. They created Rebirth Eyecolor as a symbol of the revival of New Orleans. The shade is denim blue with flecks of iridescent color, inspired by how a storm reveals a beautiful rainbow.
For every purchase of Rebirth Eyecolor, 100% of the net proceeds were donated to Direct Relief International and an additional amount equal to 50% was donated by Bare Escentuals' CEO, Leslie Blodgett.
Direct Relief International provides medical and emergency relief assistance to victims of natural and civil disasters in over 59 countries including the United States. They provided aid for the Southern California fires and Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, inspiring our BE Addicts to choose Direct Relief International as a BE Cares philanthropy partner.
